Hacienda Suites

What makes the Hacienda Suites in Loreto, Baja California different from most of the other hotels and lodging accommodations in the entire peninsula is the fact that it is a family-owned hotel. It is nothing like the large, impersonal multi-chain hotels you find in many parts of Baja. That these kinds of hotels are comfortable and luxurious, yes, but they can also be quite bland. The lack of personal touch and culture in these places are rather noticeable, making them feel like modern and expensive places, not welcoming lodging accommodations.

The Amador family, a very old family that has resided in Loreto for several generations now, owns the Hacienda Suites. At the moment, there are about 30 suites available in the Loreto Hacienda Suites. Twenty six of these are standard suites, one is a junior suite, and three are master suites. All the suites at Hacienda Suites Loreto come with a direct dial telephone, a cable television, air conditioning, safety deposit box, coffee maker, and a private bathroom with a sink, toilet and shower area. The Hacienda Suites standard rooms and junior rooms are furnished with two spacious double beds each, plus the junior suites have in addition a kitchenette with a stove and small refrigerator. The Master suites on the other hand, comes fully equipped with a queen size bed, a picturesque balcony, a kitchenette, dining area and a lounge area.

The large hacienda plaza found at the center of the Hacienda Suites Hotel in Loreto, Baja California is the jewel of the entire hotel. Found at the center of this great space is a large outdoor swimming pool which is surrounded by lounge seats, deck chairs, tables, patches of gardens and plenty of shady palm trees. It is the favorite place that Hotel Hacienda Suites' guests spend plenty of time in other than inside their comfortable hotel suites. The Hacienda Plaza is also part of the venue for the Fiesta Mexicana celebrations, a special event held every Saturday which all hotel guests are invited to enjoy.

Aside from the village sqaure-like plaza, the Hacienda Suites, Loreto also has a bar and a restaurant called the La Molienda Bar and the Rancho Viejo Restaurant. Both hotel bar and restaurant are well-known in the area as one of the best places for great food, drinks, atmosphere and company. Other Hacienda Suites facilities available to guests include a fitness gym, an event hall and a secured parking lot.
