Hotel Regis

The city/municipality of Mexicali is such an interesting and colorful place that is brimming not only with culture, but with business as well, it is perfectly natural that it would ensure that visitors to the city would have places in which they could rest as they explore in or go about their various businesses in Mexicali. There are a number of hotels scattered all over Mexicali, all of which have their own virtues which range from charming to interesting to magnificent and even simple and functional. The Hotel Regis actually stands not too far away from the significantly more lavish Araiza Mexicali, and thus enjoys similar benefits of location at a definite fraction of the cost. That is to say, the Hotel Regis is close enough to the hub of Mexicali to enjoy its vibrancy and activity but far enough from it in order to give guests a sense of relative tranquility to offset the excitement.

Connected to Justo Sierra, one of the major avenues through which tourists and visitors from America can drive through when first entering the vibrant territory of Mexicali, Benito Juarez Boulevard gives the Hotel Regis easy access to the major attractions of Mexicali, such as the shopping district and the bullfighting arena (it's one of the most breathtaking spectacles anyone could find in Mexicali). Benito Juarez is also connected to Lazaro Cardenas Boulevard, which guests of Hotel Regis can traverse to reach the more natural and intellectual attractions – Lazaro Cardenas Boulevard leads right up to the Basque y Zoologico (known as “Forest and Zoo”) to the west – that is, towards Tijuana – and an industrial park as well as a university to the east (there is also a shopping mall here, further, but supposedly with better buys). Benito Juarez itself, when followed southeast towards San Luis, would eventually lead to Mexicali's beautiful industrial park area, yet another aspect of Hotel Regis' location gearing towards the restful leisure of their clients.

The Hotel Regis is a three-star hotel which (on the last count) has a total of fifty-seven rooms, each with a color television, airconditioning and heating. Hotel Regis also has an in-hotel restaurant called Villa Don Nacho, as well as meeting/conference rooms for businessmen and laundry and parking services for all guests. The rates tend to vary, so it is best that a travel agent is consulted with regards to reservations in the Hotel Regis.
